Prof. Anand Mohan

Anand Mohan has earned B.Sc. degree in Physics, Mathematics and Geology (Hons.) in 1976, and Ph.D. in Metamorphic Petrology from Benaras Hindu University in 1983. He worked as Research Scientist ‘A’ in University Grants Commission, New Delhi during 1984-86. Thereafter he joined the Geology Department of Benaras Hindu University (BHU) as faculty in 1986. He became Reader in Geology at BHU and served in the capacity from 1991-99. From 1999-2009 Prof. Anand Mohan served as Professor in the same department. As a Leverhulme Commonwealth Fellow, Prof. Anand Mohan visited Leicenster University, UK for his Post Doctoral research. He also visited several other countries including Australia, Japan, England, and Ireland for International Conferences in his professional field. Prof. Anand Mohan has a rich experience spanning upto 23 years of graduate and post-graduate teaching in the areas of metamorphic Petrology, Mineralogy, Precambrian Geology and Application of Thermodynamics of Pterological problems. His holds keen research interest in the areas like Ultra-high temperature crustal metamorphism, Microtextures of sapphirine-bearing rocks, P-T-t evolution of granulites, migmatites and charnockites in metamorphic belts, Geological development of Eastern Ghats – Southern Granulite Belt and East Gondwana connection, Tectono-metamorphic evolution of Sikkim and Arunachal Himalaya. Prof. Anand Mohan has a wide administrative experience as Sectional Committee Member, Earth Sciences, Indian Academy of Sciences; Expert, Indian Antarctica Research Programme; DST Expert Member on EPMA at IIT, Kharagpur; Convener, DST Programme on “Art of Petrography” and as UGC Expert to Selection & Awards Bureau. He is also Guest Editor to Journal of Metamorphic Geology, UK.

Prof. Anand Mohan has 50 research papers, 275 citations of publications to his authorship credit. He has also edited a book entitled ‘Milestones in Petrology and Future Perspectives’ Memoir 52, published by Geological Society of India, Bangalore. Presently he is serving the Institute as Registrar.

Dr. Sanjay Bhushan

Principal Investigator

Dr. Sanjay Bhushan has done B.Sc. (Chemistry Hons.), MBM, PhD (Business Administration) and NET (Management). After completing his Doctoral research, he joined the Department of Management in the year 2001. His research interest spans over Disaster Management, System Dynamics, Business Environment Analysis, Strategic Marketing, Logistics and Theology. Dr. Bhushan has to his credit number of distinctions viz. Visiting Research Faculty, IIM Bangalore, Member-Technical Committee on Humanities and Social Sciences, WASET (World Academy of Science, Engineering and Technology), Panel of Reviewers (Invited Expert) – Academy of Management, New York, USA & affiliated groups (Southern Management Association, the Southwest Academy of Management, the Eastern Academy of Management, and the western Academy of Management). He has reviewed number of national and International research papers and is also acting as Expert Reviewer and Editorial Member, EADS-SMI Chair, IIM Bangalore, International Journal of Logistics Management, USA, International Greener Journals, African Journal of Business Management, Asian Journal of Management Research (AJMR), Greener Journal of Business and Management Studies, Global Scholars Journals of Management Sciences (GSJMS) and Issues in Business Management and Economics (IBME). Dr. Bhushan has so far authored/co-authored 10 books, Edited 3 books and published over 40 research papers in National and International journals of repute in addition of participating/organizing around 100 National-International conferences, workshops and symposium.   He has also been instrumental in design, development and e-content generation of galaxy of new courses for university classes such as Theology, Systems Techniques for Business Analysis, Business Environment Disaster Management, International Business Management, Entrepreneurship Management, Business Organisation, Advanced Advertising, Corporate Governance, Marketing Management and Consumer behaviour, Production Management and Sales Techniques. He has so far guided over 100 Dissertations and Major project for UG, PG and M.Phil Classes. Dr. Bhushan has also been entrusted with number of administrative responsibilities and is coordinator of various committees and task groups working for the preservation, promotion and enrichment of values based quality education practices and number of research initiatives of high social and environmental relevance.

Prof. Sanjeev Swami

Sanjeev Swami is Professor and Head, Department of Management, DEI, Agra, India. His PhD is in Business Administration from the UBC, Canada, M. Tech. in Industrial Management from IIT Kanpur, and BE in Industrial Engineering from Allahabad. He has consulted international organizations like Pathe (Holland), EWW (USA), TERI and BHEL (India). He has been associated as Faculty with UBC, Canada, IIT Kanpur, IIM Bangalore, IIITM, Gwalior, and Rotterdam School of Management. He has published more than 100 research papers including those in journals like Marketing Science, Interfaces, M&SOM, Marketing Letters, IJPE, Vikalpa, DEIJSER, AOR, JORS, and Journal of Cleaner Production. He has received career research awards by AICTE and DST, India. He has won Fellowships by American Marketing Association and UBC. His research contributions have been recognised in the form of Emerald Literati Network Awards, The European Marketing Academy (EMAC) and Elsevier Award, AIMS International Award, and an honorable mention as one of the Top 7 most productive Indian management researchers in a recent article in Economic Times authored by Prof. Nirmalya Kumar, London Business School.

Prof. S.K. Sharma

Dr. Shiv Kumar Sharma is serving as Professor in the Department. He completed his M.Phil, Ph.D from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. He has also done a faculty development program in Management (F.D.P.M) from Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. Dr. Sharma has twenty four years of teaching experience and is a member of several academic and Professional bodies. Dr. Sharma has over 35 research papers/ Articles published in National and International journals and three books to his credit. He has also evaluated around 70 Ph.D. Thesis which were referred to him for expert review from across various states of India. His area of research of interest are Human Resource Management, Organizational Behavior and General Management. He has traveled widely and attended seminars and conferences at national level and also chaired number of technical sessions in many of them. He has been guiding Ph.D students and submitted two minor research projects financed by University Grant Commission (UGC). He is a guest faculty of different business schools of the country. He is a member of several academic and Professional Bodies in the commerce and management. He is also on the panel of experts of Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU) Lucknow and Public Commissions.

Mr. Anand Swarup

Mr. Anand Swarup has done Graduation (B.Com. Hons.) from Dayalbagh Educational Institute and Post graduation (M.com.) from Agra University.  He has good hand on computer skills and knowledge of MS office. As per his job description, he surveyed various project locations and following work was done:

 

  • Collected data through extensive interviews, group discussion, questionnaire and field observations
  • Collected Valuable data from secondary sources such as internet, news papers, books and encyclopaedia on Indigenous knowledge and Disaster Management.
  • Covered different dimensions at the time of collecting data, these are Agriculture/Bio-diversity, Education, Healthcare, Medicinal Plants, Social Development, Housing, Green Technologies/Environment, Employment/Industries and Spiritual /cultural development.
  • Analyzed the collected data and prepared the project report.
  • Took valuable photos and videos and also assisted in E-content Development for the project.
