- All the Dry latrines (conservancy system) of the colony have now been converted to pour-flush latrines, connected to sewage network, which carries the effluent for treatment to Oxidation Ponds.
- In the year 2009, a major project for remodeling of Dayalbagh Yamuna Canal was undertaken to increase its capacity from 5 cusec to 11.45 cusec. Several Guls (water channels) have been constructed in LalGarhi, Sikandarpur and Bahadurpur areas.
A 1500KVA, 33/11KV sub-station was established in 2005-06. 11KV/0.4KV sub-stations have been established at Model Industries, Prem Nagar & DEI during 2004-2006. Electrical distribution system has been re-organized and modernized to improve reliability of Power Supply to the Colony and Institutions. Two 250 KVA stand-by Diesel Generator Sets were procured in 2004-2005 and were installed at M.I. and Prem Nagar.
A new Department of renewable energy has been established which is for the present, focusing on promoting the use of solar energy within the Dayalbagh Colony.
