Murar is the village of Buxar district in Bihar state. It is near to the state capital Patna. The nearest railway stations are Buxar and Dumraon and both are direct connected with Patna station. The introduction is divided in some important parameters and these are:
Geographical Information
Bihar has covered 94,163 Km2 areas and which is 2.86% of total area of the country. It is situated in the eastern part of the country. Total 38 districts in this state and Buxar is the one of them. Buxar district covered the 1073Km2 areas of the Bihar state and it is divided in to two sub divisions these are Buxar and Dumraon. Bihar is the poorest state of the country and 10,38,04,637 is the total population of the state. Bihar has the highest rural population in India, as well as the lowest rural incomes in the country. Over 50 per cent of the population lives below the poverty line. Bihar is also one of the most flood-prone states in India. Total 5,43,90,254 is the literate population in state and 916 is the sex ratio according to the census 2011.
Total population of Buxar district is 1707643 and the population density is 1003 per Km2. The literacy rate is 71.77% and the sex ratio is 922 female for every 1000 male. Buxar has 285th rank in India’s 640 Districts.
Climatic Condition
The climate of the district is of moderately extreme type. It becomes quite hot during summer and fairly cool during the winter. January is the coldest month when the minimum temperature comes down to approximately 10 degree. Winter seasons starts form the month of November and last till February. The temperature begins to rise in March and it reaches the peak in the month of May when the mercury touches about 45 degree.
Transportation
The town Buxar is located on the bank of river Ganga (Ganges). A road bridge over Ganges river is connecting the town with district Ballia (Uttar Pradesh). The town is connected to the state capital (Patna) by rail and road routes. Substantial proportion of trade activities are with well connected towns and cities such as Ballia, Varanasi and Ghazipur in Uttar Pradesh.
